Start your day well with a good breakfast. You don't have to spend hours in the kitchen to make a healthy breakfast. Breakfast is an important element of a healthy lifestyle, but so is sleep 😉
A healthy breakfast is important because it allows you to start the day with all the necessary nutrients for a productive day. One of my favorite breakfasts can be made in no time. I always go for:
- Greek yoghurt 0%. Greek yoghurt 0% contains a lot of protein and little fat.
- Fruit. A source of vitamins and minerals. Go for a variety of fruits so you don't get tired of this tasty breakfast. 🍓🍌🥝
- A tablespoon of sunflower seeds or other nuts and seeds. Nuts and seeds are a good source of healthy fats.
- Dark chocolate. I always aim for a cocoa content of at least 86%. This is a good source of antioxidants and I mean.. who doesn't like chocolate 😊
- Oatmeal or muesli. This is a good source of carbohydrates and fibers. Make sure you choose a muesli with less than 6g of sugar per 100g. My favorite is the crunchy muesli from @holieofficial because it only has 2g sugar per 100g and contains a lot of protein and fibers.
